A good base for a few days - spacious enough for five of us and dog friendly. Hot tub was a very welcome added bonus. Nice welcome pack.A few minimal changes would be beneficial but not game changers - hand soap in the bathrooms and some of the oven items and frying pan could do with replacing

Lodge was really lovely, hot tub was great. Couldn't walk through the field to the pub as all gates were padlocked off and barbed wire which was a shame as had to drive as we had children with us and the road wasn't suitable for children to walk along. Other than that great lodge and great host.

Lodge was pretty good, slightly let down by a few issues such as some mess in kitchen cupboards/freezer and the hot tub being... temperamental and quite exposed. Beds/bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels, kitchen equipment adequate, lodge lovely and warm, owners helpful. Wi-fi solid. Area totally beautiful. Certainly value for money but not luxurious.
