Located in the heart of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell pudding and a local weekly market, the town provides a great base to explore this fantastic area and its many attractions.
Fabulous walks, trails, golfing, rock climbing and much, much more are all within easy reach.
Explore the many historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon and Hardwick Hall to mention but a few. Impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John’s Grave in Hathersage are also well worth a visit.
There is plenty to do for walkers and cyclists, with the Monsal Trail on the doorstep.

Very comfortable premises, close to town.
They thought of almost everything to keep customers happy.
Weather was wet so had to stay local and spend quite some time there.
Expensive peak prices but that's probably everywhere now.

We could not have asked for more!!! Catherine and Hugh made us feel so welcome. Their accommodation is beautiful with all we needed and more. It is spotless, homely and cosy, with so many thoughtful extras, dvds, books etc, as well as guides to the local area. An absolute gem, close to pubs, restaurants beautiful shops, etc. We had th Best Time! Thank you Catherine and Hugh.

Netherwood was a spotlessly clean apartment, with great facilities in a perfect location for Bakewell town. Catherine and Hugh were fantastic hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. I can't recommend this property highly enough.
