Leading off from the living room is a large, separate dining room which is just perfect for a family feast after a day on the fells, and even has a DAB radio and Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your favourite tunes while you enjoy a glass of wine and play a board game.
At the rear there is an enclosed garden with patio and sitting-out area, as well as an equipment store which doubles up as a drying room for your wet walking gear.
Dogs are welcome at Wanderers Rest so be sure to bring them along for the ride.
On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, one with a super kingsize bed and en-suite facilities, and the second with twin beds.
The second floor boasts great views across the Keswick rooftops to the nearby fells, and houses a kingsize bedroom and a single room. With roadside parking available, you can easily leave the car behind and explore the bustling town centre of Keswick on foot.

Overall, an excellent property, very well maintained and comfy, with a good "welcome pack" of necessary items.
The blind in the single upstairs bedroom jammed open while we were there, which would make sleeping in there pretty difficult with early summer morning light, but hopefully that will be fixed.

Lovely, homely feel. Have stayed twice now and would definitely come again. Just a caution about the dining room chairs. They topple over very easy and, as they are heavy, they can easily damage either property or people.

A really nice property. Well positioned just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Keswick. Well equipped and easy parking on the street outside. My only complaint is the price I had to pay due to school holidays. 😭
