Barncott is perfect as a couple’s retreat and lies just over 2 miles from Portheras Cove.. 1 step to entrance.
Ground Floor: Open plan living space.
Living area: 38" Freeview TV, Woodburner Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine First Floor: Bedroom: Galleried, Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.
Electric storage heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.
Initial logs for wood burner included.
Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture.
Bike store.
Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Trewellard Manor Farm is ideally located just off the stunning scenic coast road from St Ives to Land’s End, on the edge of Trewellard village.
The owner lives on-site and Barncott (ref UK12059) and Cowslip (ref UK12060) both stand detached.
The former has exposed stone walls in the living room, and the latter has a double bedroom with a sea view and which houses a large feature grain lift, testimony to its past farming heritage.
This north western tip of Cornwall is generally accepted as the most unspoilt area of the county, with its magnificent relics of ancient tin mines and its Celtic heritage.
The area is used extensively in the current popular TV series, Poldark, and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Trewellard village provides a choice of restaurants and three pubs all within walking distance, along with local stores and a pottery and craft shop.
St Just, a short drive or bus ride away, has its own selection of shops, restaurants and pubs.
Evidence of its past mining history can be seen dotted around including the famous Crown Mines, engine houses perched on the cliff face which are visible on the popular coastal walk.
The Geevor Tin Mine and Heritage Centre is just a few hundred yards away as is the Levant steam engine, which can be seen working on certain days.
Cape Cornwall Club is 3 miles away and open to all. This is a stunning and challenging golf course overlooking the Brisons Rocks.

Superschoon, precies als op de foto’s, incl. Wifi. 1 km van de kliffen met allemaal wandelpaden en fantastische uitzichten. Lokale Trewellard Arms is een typisch pub met goede maaltijden.

For those who intend to self cater like us, two more saucepans with lids and a cheese grater would be appreciated.....minor point. Everything else about the cottage was excellent. Great holiday (including Storm Agnes!).

A very well presented pretty cottage in a good place for walking on the Coastal Path. It is 3 minutes from the Coastal Bus route. A quiet location, good space outdoors, Good parking. etc.
