Havannah Cottage is a single-storey property and enjoys a tranquil, rural position surrounded by stunning countryside. Alnham is a welcoming hamlet situated only 6 miles from the village of Whittingham, and 2 miles from Netherton.
Only 9 miles away is the picture perfect village of Rothbury, found nestled at the foot of the Simonside Hills, sitting on the banks of the trout and salmon rich River Coquet.
The Upper Coquet Valley is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists.
It offers many facilities including tea rooms, pubs, shops and a riverside 18-hole golf course. The National Trust property at Cragside is an interesting visitor attraction.
The historic market town of Alnwick, where its dramatic castle is the ancestral home to the Duke of Northumberland (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy) is 14 miles east.
The Alnwick Garden is also well worth a visit.

Cottage is really nice but something need to be changed.No information where key box located. Need help to find as was well hidden and need to be very fit and flexible to get key. Brilliant idea for a dog room but no key for door. Also not information for heating as clock changed at the weekend.

A lovely cottage and perfect for our two dogs with a very safe garden for them to run about in and watch the lambs across the road. If you really want to relax and get away from everything then this is the place to go, really quiet and very rural, the few locals we saw were very friendly also.

key box in wood shed, differcult to fined, plus being 6 foot up the wall when your only 5ft 5 didnt help. locked out of cottage till owners came - had to pee in the garden waiting for some one to come and open up. Gave up after an hour and went to look for a shop 8 miles away. Such a lovely cottage ...
