With spacious accommodation set all on the ground floor, this property is ideal for a couple seeking to explore the delights of the North York Moors National Park, where you will find a magnitude of opportunities to suit all ages and tastes. The welcoming open plan living area features a contemporary style kitchen which houses all the essentials you could possibly need to cater for yourselves during a relaxing break.
After dinner, look forward to curling up on the plush sofas or venture to the private garden area, where you can catch the final glimpses of sunshine with a well-deserved glass of wine in hand.
Completing the interior is a comfortable double bedroom and a shower room. Brook Cottage is well serviced by public transport.
The bus to Whitby stops nearby, whilst the bus to Goathland, York and Leeds (officially voted Britain’s Most Scenic Bus Route in 2018 by Bus Users UK) stops in Sleights.
Sleights train station is half a mile away and trains run to Whitby and Middlesbrough along the stunning Esk Valley line.
It is a real treat to see, hear and smell the iconic steam train puffing along from Whitby to Pickering on the North York Moors Railway.
Why not catch the steam train from Whitby to the market town of Pickering, stopping off at Goathland, home to the fictional village ’Aidensfield’ in the TV programme ‘Heartbeat’? Beach 4 miles.

A beautiful cottage with everything one needs for a relaxing holiday. What makes it special is being next to the farm and seeing hens, sheep and lambs, and even a pony in adjoining fields.Welcome by the owner was a nice surprise too. Definitely recommend it.
