The story goes that the building was once one of a number of 18th century alms houses and thankfully much of its heritage and character remains.
Boasting exposed painted beams, a granite fireplace and original Georgian windows and doors, Below Deck welcomes you to share in its past whilst you make memories for the future. A covered passageway leads to the lovely secluded terrace (shared with one other holiday home with privacy screening) perfect for relaxing over coffee, lunch, or a glass of wine whilst enjoying the lovely views of Place House, Fimbarrus Church and tantalising glimpses of the estuary.
With the benefit of on-site parking and a bus stop just outside you have the opportunity to explore the coast or perhaps take a day trip to Exeter and there’s excellent shops, restaurants and the bustling harbour just a 2 minute stroll down the hilll and if you have shopping to carry, there is a convenient community bus to drive you back up to your doorstep. Whatever you decide to do with your day, the views from Below Deck will be waiting for your return. Free WiFi There is an a large double sofa bed which can accommodate an extra two people, should this be required it is at a cost of £40 per week.

Spent a very comfortable week in below deck, location is perfect to walk into Fowey and to drive to other local places of interest. The apartment is well furnished and well equipped. Having a parking space directly outside the property was a huge bonus. We had no issues at all while we there and would recommend.

We had a lovely week staying in below deck, it was immaculately clean, had everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t get to try out the outside area as weather was not good enough in April. Just a short walk into the town of Fowey which has some lovely walks, scenery , pubs, restaurants, and shops.
Parking space a great addition, will hopefully visit again.

Great location, just a short walk into the centre. Having parking is a fantastic extra. Great view from patio area. Big rooms Comfortable bed. Lovely shower. We found the sofa a bit uncomfortable.
