Surrounded by rolling fields yet within a short drive of local amenities and a very good pub serving food.The immediate surroundings are perfect for cyclist and walkers - the quiet roads are actually signposted as being cycle and walk-friendly and the Cateran Trail can be joined nearby - a circular 64 mile walk through some amazing scenery.
There are local shops and good eateries at Coupar Angus, Newtyle and Ardler ,while further afield , the V & A, Glamis Castle and Scone Palace are popular cultural attractions.

Lovely warm comfortable cottage finished to a high standard. Really well equipped. Welcome pack of goodies and flowers were a really nice touch. Plenty to do in the area and we loved the walking and cycling friendly quiet roads. Excellent value for money. Would definitely return.

Very nice cottage, good location, owners very helpful. Only downside was the showers height adjustment and head angle was not easy to adjust to personal preferences. Could have done with a mirror in the bathroom too.

Really enjoyed our stay in Baldowrie cottage, really well equipped, cosy, comfortable and clean. Great dog walks from the cottage. Cheryl sent us fantastic things to do and places to eat.
