Head north to discover miles of magnificent sandy beaches, as well as the village of Bamburgh, which is known for its dominant hilltop castle, overlooking the sea, along with its lighthouse, museums and golf club.
A short drive along the coast will take you to the fishing village of Craster, with its lovely family-friendly beach and nearby attraction of the 14th-century Dunstanburgh Castle, owned by the National Trust. Don’t forget to try some award-winning tasty seafood! Head a short drive south to the historic market town of Alnwick, enjoy the castle used as the setting of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter film series and create your own Hogwarts memory.

Very comfortable house with lots of facilities but we have suggested all beds and pillows should have protectors. Hopefully this will happen.The location is perfect and you can leave the car parked at the house and walk to all the local shops etc, or use the local buses to go further afield.

Have rented a few cottages in mine time at Seahouses, and this one is the best. The facilities and location were excellent. A nice relaxed week by the sea. This cottage will always be my first choice if available.

We were very pleased with this accommodation, it had all the things we needed,
The owners even left goodies for our dog which in the end we didn’t need, so thanks very much for our nice break in Seahouses.
