A modern take on a traditional stone built cottage, Esthwaite is an end terrace, built on three floors and is comfortably furnished in a fairly contemporary style. The two bathrooms with bath or shower are sure to be put to good use after a days walking on the fells.

We had a great stay, the house was bigger than expected, location was great, was really easy to access as well. Only downside was the floors were very creaky on the third floor so often got woken up if someone moved at night, but other than that it was a really good house and location and great value.

Comfortable cottage and great location. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the parking situation (and lack of batteries for the TV remotes!) If you have a particularly large car or are a nervous driver, then I would advise parking on one of the nearby streets rather than trying to get into the very narrow courtyard. Other than that, I would happily stay here again.
