The centres of Bowness and Windermere are within easy reach and there are delightful walks direct from the doorstep to some of the best viewpoints in the area from which to enjoy the beauty of the fells and Lake Windermere.

A really lovely hideaway cottage in a delightful part of the Lake District. We arrived to no hot water but this was promptly fixed the following day.
We were sad to leave and wished we'd booked longer. Would we come back? Definitely!

The secret garden was a little small but very comfortable. It was in a great location and there was a well stocked kitchen.
