We were very happy with our experience of Alexandra Cottage. The accommodation was surprisingly generous for three of us and we had all the facilities we required. Two minor comments are the lack of hand towels and better information about disposal/recycling of our waste. Other than that, all very good!

Really nice cottage, perfect for a family of five, and an excellent base for exploring the lakes. Great to be close to the amenities in Windermere and a nice pub just around the corner. All clean and comfortable. Only minor quibbles: some information in the folder was out of date. We couldn't find the key for the outside utility so we couldn't do the recycling.

Shower door was nearly falling off. Wipe off cobwebs better in kitchen. But overall, I can book it again. The location of the cottage and the size of it is great. Perfect for 2 small families.
