Sorry, no hen or stag parties.. These two properties are in the pretty village of Burwarton, at the foot of The Brown Clee Hill, and located just a minutes walk from a country pub ’The Boyne Arms’, which has been renovated and is run by the owners’ of these properties.
The Boyne Arms offers fantastic meals in a most comfortable and cosy setting, the beer garden outside now includes private pods which guests can use to enjoy their drinks and food outside (see their website for opening and serving times). Included in your short break will be a return journey to either Ludlow or Bridgnorth, to enhance your stay without the need to worry about transport. The Old School House 1 (UK32061) is a three bedroomed property of which one is en-suite and has a mezzanine balcony overlooking the open plan living space.
The Old Kitchen (UK32062) is a studio apartment with the bedroom area in with the living area. Burwarton is close to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ludlow and Bridgnorth which all offer an array of attractions as well as a large range of shops and bars.
For the more active guests there are many walks to enjoy such as Clee Burf and Brown Clee Hill which is the highest point in Shropshire.
The town of Ludlow is also just a short drive away and highlights for the day include Mortimer Forest and Ludlow Castle.
After a long day walking and exploring all that Shropshire has to offer.
Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 10 yards. These properties can be booked together to accommodate 14 guests. Free WiFi There is an evening curfew for noise at the property. Families or couples only. We have just got back from a 2 night stay at the Old School House. We were a group of 7 ladies just having a chilled weekend. Accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Lovely hot tub and private garden. Had a lovely meal at the Boyne Arms we would recommend. Hosts were great and very helpful. We would definitely go again 😊

Due to an 'administrative error' which Michelle sorted out before we even knew about it, we actually stayed in the Old School House which is absolutely beautiful. Michelle and Tim were really helpful, the house was spotless and well equipped, the log fired hot tub is lovely and it is in a beautiful location - couldn't ask for more!

Our holiday was wonderful. The accomodation was outstanding. It was great to have the hosts around they were great with information and always asking if we were OK. The location was very good only a short drive to Bridgnorth or Ludlow. The Boyne serves excellent food. The hot tub was great and easy to use. We all had an amazing holiday. Thankyou both.
