Beck View Cottage offers the perfect couples retreat, situated close to the harbour front.. Ground Floor:

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Public car park, 200 yards away (free between 1st November- 28th February). No smoking.. Situated close to the harbour front and offering a lovely view over the beck to its side, sits this charming, cosy cottage set in the quaint fishing village of Staithes.
This charming end of terrace cottage is the perfect choice for a couples’ getaway, featuring a comfortable double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. There are lovely walks to be enjoyed straight from the front door, or for a quieter pace simply sit in one of the great bars or cafés located along the harbour front and watch the world go by. With 3 lovely pubs to choose from as well as a good selection of shops, including a delicatessen and butchers, you have everything you could do available within a short stroll of the cottage.
Should you wish to travel further afield, there is plenty for everyone close by, with Whitby just 9 miles away to the south and Saltburn by the Sea to the North, both sure to offer fun filled days out. Beach 100 yards.

We had a great time we where lucky the weather was good. There were a couple of negatives one being the stairs in the cottage they were very steep also there was nowhere to sit outside but there is plenty of benches around. Overall we were happy ..

Only real quible is that i could not get on with the bed, memory foam i think, but my partner loved it.
No additional toilet paper was available beyond the 1 roll on arrival and no disinfectant/ bleach for a thorough cleaning up should it be required, minimal washing up liquid too.
In all the 7/8 plus years we've visited Staithes annualy, this has been the best all round one to date accomodation.
