A beautiful stone-built, detached cottage, renovated in 2020, with far-reaching countryside views, Barn View offers modern facilities along with original exposed beams.
The ground floor consists of a living/dining room with stone-built fireplace, along with a separate well-equipped kitchen.
On the first floor you will find two well-appointed bedrooms as well as a family bathroom complete with a spa bath.
The cottage is situated on the owner’s working farm with cattle, ducks, geese, chickens, and horses, and is an ideal holiday location (stabling available).
A plethora of walks can be taken from the doorstep and coarse fishing can be found ½ mile away.
Chatsworth House, Bolsover Castle, Hardwick Hall and the Heights of Abraham are just a selection of the many attractions within a 10-mile drive of the cottage.
Bakewell is the ancient capital of the Peak District, and is just under a half an hour drive away, famous for its puddings.
Shop 4 miles, pub 3 miles, restaurant 5 miles.

Great stay in Barn View. Really well appointed cottage, bigger than expected. Beds were really comfy and showers nice and hot. Only niggle was that the sofas and chair were really saggy so not very comfortable to snuggle up on, on a rainy day. Other than that a 5 🌟 cottage.

Lovely modern barn conversion with parking outside the door. We felt the towels and toilet paper allowance was a bit mean (no hand towels in bathrooms and one roll in each) for four people. Overall though it was a pleasure to stay in Barn View.

Had a really enjoyable mini break at Barn View. The cottage was well equipped to enable us to have a good base from which to explore the area. We have still got lots of the area to visit and would consider returning to Barn View again.
