It was a very good stay. It is a very small cottage that would not suit everyone but we found it well equipped and pretty well everything worked fine. We particularly appreciated the EV charger right outside the door. The location was excellent close to pubs, shops and a very welcoming cafe (serving breakfast and pizzas on some days).

Friendly owners arranging arrival and sharing local knowledge. Very comfortable and clean cottage, excellent well equipped kitchen and bathroom, cosy lounge with fire. Three pubs, two village shops and a cafe all within three minutes walk. Fabulous walks from the door. We would love to visit again!

The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped and a good base for the area. We managed to do everything we had planned without getting too wet despite the weather being showery and unpredictable. We used the local bus service to return from Bakewell and visit Matlock, the stop being right outside the cottage.
