This Highland lodge makes a great base all year round and is perfect for exploring the best of northern Scotland.. 2 steps to entrance.

Living area: With electric log-effect fire and 32" Smart TV.
Dining area: With patio doors leading to decking.
Kitchen area: With breakfast bar, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine.
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: With 2ft 6in twin beds.
Bedroom 3: With bunk bed.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail (Jack and Jill, accessed via bedroom 2).. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.
Travel cot and highchair available on request.

Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a borehole.. Cruachan is a beautifully finished, detached Highland lodge, situated almost exactly in the central point of Scotland - a monument marking the point is a short walk down the lane.
It’s perfectly located to explore the Cairngorms National Park, but because it is also central in the Highlands and the country, meaning there are amazing sights only a short drive away.
With Ben Nevis to the west and Inverness and the Black Isle to the east, you’ll be spoilt for choice for things to do. The village of Newtonmore is only a few miles away where you will find pubs and restaurants as well as a supermarket.
Cruachan is a lovely property and would make a memorable holiday home at any time of the year. This lodge is set on a lovely, quiet caravan site with space all around and views of the Cairngorms.

Step inside and into the open plan living space, the centre piece of the house, it really draws you in. The large living space is centered around the electric fire and wall-mounted Smart TV, and has an apexed floor-to-ceiling window which lets an enormous amount of light in, affording stunning views of the mountains.
The kitchen area is well-equipped and beautifully finished with a breakfast bar. Patio doors lead from the dining area to the garden, so in the summer you can leave them open and enjoy the decking area.
Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles. Cruachan can be booked together with The Den (ref UK13682) to accommodate up to 10 guests. Free WiFi The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply. There are steps to the property. The lodge was very comfortable, warm and well equipped. Location is great if you are looking for peaceful location. Well situated for exploring the local area and hills. Newtonmore is only 5 mins up the road and has all the amenities you need, i.e. restaurants and large co-op etc. Plently of space between the lodges, so never feel overlooked.
