There is access to 1½ acres of walled gardens and orchard with lawns for croquet and table tennis, a summer house and a small woodland walk with wildlife pond. Set in open countryside you are well placed for walking, touring and cycling.
Masham offers a selection of country shops, pubs and tea rooms with both pub grub and fine dining available.
Take time to book afternoon tea at nearby Swinton Park and experience the glory of yesteryears in this historic building. The historic city of York is 37 miles way, and has a wealth of history, shops, pubs and restaurants.

For the youngsters or the young at heart, there is Lightwater Valley theme park which is just 7 miles.

The Mews is just first class, spacious and comfort. Welcome cake,wine and flowers, waiting for us. Comfy bed. Perfect. The grounds and garden are just amazing, just take a book and drift away. Janet( owner) is friendly and welcoming. We will be recomending The Mews to friends and family who want the perfect break in the Dale's.
