Decorated and furnished to a very good standard the property is in a quiet area and overlooks the church opposite.
From the living/dining room there is a sea view and it’s a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Just around the corner you have all the local shops, bank and post office as well as several restaurants and bars.
It’s just a short stroll down to the beach with miles of golden sands.
When the tide is out you can walk for at least 3 miles along the shores.
Alternatively you can look around the beautiful Crescent Gardens, which overlook Filey Bay and are only 100 yards from the property.
For those of you who enjoy the great outdoors the Cleveland Way ends in Filey so you can track back and walk some of the Cleveland Way along the clifftops.
Along the coast you can see the chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head where the RSPB bird sanctuary is one of the most popular visitor sites.
Here you can see puffins in their natural habitat.
The larger resort of Scarborough is further north and just a short drive from the property.
Inland you can discover the North Yorkshire Moors, the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, or the historic city of York.

Comfortable and well appointed. Perfect location for access to all of Filey. Lovely big bay window in lounge to sit and relax in the sunshine!! Ideal for 2 people, as long as you are okay with stairs up to the flat.Although it's on street parking, we had no issues with this in April.

As with other reviewers we didn't find using the key box easy at first. It's probably been used so many times it's needing a bit of brute force now!
The television again, was a problem. Four different remotes to view a TV! If you are familiar with all the gadgets, fine, the only channel we managed to view was BBC 1.
A simple guide would have been much appreciated.....

Good quality accomodation in the centre of Fiey. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble with the apartment. Entrance hall a little dingy (the lighting is dim) but that's a minor quibble.
