The spacious hallway with its more than adequate size cloakroom/toilet, leads into the living area with full height glass windows enhancing its bright and airy ambience.
The gorgeous open plan living area with its comfortable sofas, large Freeview TV, next to the friendly comfort of the wood burner ensures a warm welcome regardless of the season.
The kitchen has good quality appliances including a built-in wine cooler.
The crockery and cutlery reflect the clean style of Carmel but with the home from home ambience of soft furnishings.The two bedrooms both offer comfortable furnishings, cosy bedding, soft carpets and fitted wardrobes with large mirrors enhancing the tranquil feeling of this superb property.

Carmel is a beautiful New England style cottage next to Beadnell Beach. Everything was lovely apart from a lack of srawer space in main bedroom and a poor hob. It clearly wasn't working properly - no temperature control and the whole hob unit became dangerously hot when switched on.

Fantastic cottage in a brilliant location. Beach is literally on the doorstep. Although Beadnell is a popular area it never felt crowded. Really comfy beds. The kitchen area is really spacious and social. Although the weather wasn't great we still managed to enjoy the outside space which on warm days would be amazing.

Lovely spacious bungalow in a great location. Sadly no welcome pack, only something you would get in a hotel room. The sachets of milk were two months out of date. No washing up liquid. The windowsills were in need of a good clean. The tv was too small for the size of the room. Having said all that, we would happily go back. A little more attention to detail would be good.
