Perfect location, couple local stores walking distance, plus pub, fish n chips, coffee shop, indian. French restaurant in village which we walked to, bus stop over road to eastbourne, hastings halisham, albeit only run 1 per hr. Would definitely recommend and intend returning. Paul was excellent host. If you dont know history of windmill, there is 10 min video, absolutely fascinating.

Had a great stay at the windmill barn . Paul the host was extremely friendly and helpful. Got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. Only downside was the accommodation was situated just off a very busy road , didn’t stop us enjoying the area though. Would return in the future.

A really lovely place, well equipped to a high standard. Spotlessly clean, very warm even during a chilly January. Paul was a terrific host and went out of his way to make us welcome. I would thoroughly recommend it.
