We absolutely loved this cottage and area. The owners were so friendly and also we had the privacy we needed but they were available anytime if we wanted them. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Cottage was basic but had everything we needed. It was perfect. Set in quiet surroundings and the grounds overlooking the beautiful lay of the land. I will definitely be coming back

A lovely cottage in a gorgeous area. The dining table really wasn't suitable for 4 people: it was too small with the drop leaves down and unstable with them up. Quiet location . Perfect for people wanting peace and quiet and beautiful scenery . A little remote for everyday essentials like shopping , fuel , takeaway etc but pub within 1 mile which does takeaway and delivery . Roads a little rough and up and down. Around 40 miles to most main attractions such as Bamburgh castle ( recommended ) , and Around 20 miles from Keilder , well worth a visit .
