Excellent location. Peaceful with a great pub full of locals! Good food and fair prices.
Access to Scotland and Hadrians Wall, Berwick upon Tweed and Jedburgh all recommended by us.
Beautiful coast and uncrowned beaches. Castles abound if that is your bag.
Wildlife very evident, both coastal and inland. Kielder Forest particularly impressive.
Highly recommended indeed!

Enjoyed our stay, second time visiting. A great base for visiting various attractions. Although there is a local shop for basics. Be prepared to travel for any other essentials. If you like peace and quiet it is for you.
