A really peaceful holiday. Denholm does not have much to offer but the main Border towns and visitor attractions are circa 30 minutes drive from the cottage. A really nice part of the country with lots of areas to walk and just relax in.
The cottage itself has everything you need and is totally quiet.

There are certain places that are special and this lovely cottage is one of those.The accommodation is very comfortable and very well equipped. Countryside that surrounds it is spectacular with no restrictions on walking through fields and woodland ,a dog's paradise. Owners are there to answer any questions and are so welcoming.

We spent a week at Heathfield cottage. The cottage and location is lovely!! Peace and quiet in abundance! Some aspects of the cottage could do with maintaining, such as the slow filling toilet and fuel oil smell from the boiler. The access track up to the cottage is quite rutted in places which could be a problem for a low clearance vehicle. On the whole I would recommend Heathfield cottage
