There are many attractions to enjoy right on the doorstep, with the historic and famous Forde Abbey and Gardens, Broadwindsor Craft Centre and some delightful Dorset villages.
Within easy driving you will find Lyme Regis on the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, where you can enjoy soaking up the sun on the sandy beach, or simply pass the time away walking along this stunning stretch of coastline.
Maybe try boating, fishing, crabbing or even some fossil hunting on the shore.
Inland, for some fun all the family can enjoy, the Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum never ceases to thrill, or for lovers of classic cars, travel towards the Haynes Motor Museum.
For the outdoor enthusiasts, there are some fantastic local walks available, with three national recreational footpaths on the doorstep of The Old Dairy.

Brilliant holiday this Summer at The Old Dairy. Very well catered inside, every creature comfort you could need for a week away from home. We took our Labrador puppy so the enclosed garden was perfect. Some great walking and running trails from the cottage and only a short walk into the local village.

Excellent for a break, very peaceful a nice comfortable accommodation with footpaths right outside the front door. Kitchen area had all the modern conveniences. Only comment the shower pressure could be better. Great for dog walkers and hikers.

A great and quiet location with beautiful views. The enclosed garden is perfect for dogs, and there are plenty of interesting walks from the front door.
