Only 4 miles from the A30 which provides links to all over Cornwall and makes it easy to visit Land’s End in the west along with St Ives, Penzance and over to Fowey, Newquay and Padstow to the east.
The Eden Project is close by, 5½ miles, the Lost Gardens of Heligan is only 5 miles, and the wonderful working sailing ship port of Charlestown only 6 miles, with Mevagissey around 5 miles away.
Truro, the commercial capital, is close by and has a theatre, cinema, museum and an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants along with river trips down to Falmouth on the south coast.
Lanjeth Riding School and coarse fishing at Glenleigh Farm, both 2 miles, and golf is available nearby.

Lovely little cottage, but, you do need transport as it is down country lanes. Here you are virtually a max of 60 mins from all the main tourist places. Many pubs accept dogs and they are made welcome. Beware though of car parks, pirates are still around in this guise Wi Fi is set up in the cottage so you are not cut off from your phone

We enjoyed our stay at Hay cottage.
It was really well situated for the places we wanted to visit.
The cottage is comfortable and a good size for the four of us and the little garden is so sweet. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Our stay was very tranquil.
I’m satisfied with the value for money that it offered and would consider staying again in the future.
