Parking is also available, with parking being on an incline and the gravel path to the front door is quite steep at first.
Explore the many quirky little villages that the area has to offer, or venture out and explore Coniston, Ambleside and Windermere, which are within easy reach.
Further afield on the west coast are many other towns and villages that are well worth exploring, as well as Wast Water and then over the Hardknott Pass back to Coniston.

Location was excellent. Lodge was heated and comfortable.Internet speed should be improved. Kids struggled to watch movies uninterrupted. Shower cubicle sizes are bit small and uncomfortable.Stay was excellent , owner's cooperation was kind and we are happy to book again the same lodge.

A great holiday. Ideal for a walking base with beautiful scenery all around. We were spoilt by having fine weather all week with not a drop of rain! Please note that this cottage is not suited for anyone with mobility issues as access is via a steep gravel path.

beautiful location, every think you could need, so comfortable clean just a relaxing place to be, would highly recommend , and would like to return soon if possible
