No smoking.. A haven for wildlife and lying within a 10 acre Site of Special Scientific Interest, this detached, timber framed holiday cottage pre-dates 1650AD. Completely restored, tastefully furnished and decorated with beamed interior it enjoys its own quiet, secluded garden with furniture, views of a pretty dingle with rare plants and flowers and an ancient pack-horse bridge near the brook.
There is parking for 3 cars and a BBQ. The market town of Leominster is 4 miles away with shops, swimming pool and leisure centre, Ludlow is a 15 mile drive.
There is a pub in Stoke Prior and golf course with restaurant 1½ miles away in Ford Bridge and a shop and garage in nearby Bodenham (1½ miles). The cottage is convenient for touring the Welsh borders, the Wye Valley, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and the surrounding area.
Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles. Free WiFi Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property. There are low ceilings, doors and/or beams within the property. Brilliant stay.
So peaceful, lots of wildlife to look at through the kitchen window.
everything you need is here. The furniture etc is so in keeping with the age of the cottage. If you want peace and tranquillity you can't go wrong with this cottage. Close to Leominster and Hereford town centre. Lots of lovely walks too. Fabulous place.

Screened from the quiet country road you are in a world of your own. Lovely walks up the valley from the doorstep and only 10 minutes from Leominster. The cottage had everything we needed, and the tv and wifi worked well, but no phone signal indoors.
We didn't need it but the owners were on hand to help if required and were very friendly.

Very comfortable, our second visit. The bathroom could do with a little updating but clean and usable. Kitchen had all facilities, lounge comfy although TV controls took me 2 days to work out. Beds very comfortable. Awkward exit from driveway but overall an excellent cottage.
