Built in stone from Filey Brigg, The Follies are set in 3/4 acres of natural grounds and visitors are welcome to wander through them, where there is an abundance of wildlife including, rabbits, owls and squirrels.
This property also allows up to one pet, meaning your furry friend can enjoy the holiday too. Centrally located for exploring the North Yorkshire coast, moors and wolds, the historic town of Filey is only 3 miles distant, with its wide sandy beach and all the attractions of a popular seaside resort.
Scarborough and Bridlington are both easily accessible, as is the beautiful city of York.
There is a 9-hole golf course locally, fishing available nearby, and an RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs providing interest for bird-watchers.
There are plenty of local shops and pubs within walking distance, and good railway links.

Lovely week in Hunmanby and the Old Folley. Highly recommend the location and the rental. Vicky was lovely to deal with and helpful re places to visit. The accommodation was unique and perfect for a couple, we are both short so the limited head height was ok for us upstairs but a taller person may struggle.

Well equipped cottage. Kitchen could do with a bit of a declutter to give the guests more room to store food. The ceiling in the bedroom is really low. The only real way to reach the far side of the bed is over the bed. The mattress is not the best. Great location for Filey and the coast. Local facilities also very good.

What a great atmospheric little get-away this is. Spotlessly clean and almost everything you need. The only thing missing, this being a dog friendly venue was lack of dog bowls (food/water).We appreciated the bottle of wine waiting for us, that was well received.The village has a good choice of shop...
