The Yorkshire Dales National Park is nearby.
Within easy reach are many historic houses to visit, or you could always have a day at the races at either Catterick, Ripon or Thirsk.
The coast is also within easy reach for a day out (approximately 1 hour’s drive). An ideal holiday base.
Shops ½ mile, inn serving real ale within 200 yards.

We love the Richmond area anyway - the cottage was beautiful and plenty of room for two adults and a 5 year old child. The views from the cottage were amazing, Richmond Castle.

Was a lovely stay the view from the cottage was absolutely excellent the cottage itself had an homely feel to it and the owners were very sweet and finally the fresh flowers 💐 in each room was just great

Jackie & Roger was excellent hosts,, met us in the rain to show us how to access property as it was dark when we arrived. Showed where everything was etc. Always available if we needed anything.
