Visit Minehead and enjoy a walk along the promenade or an ice cream, as well as having a good array of shops and other amenities.
A visit to enchanting Dunster Castle (NT) with its beautiful terraced gardens, Deer Park and mill will make for an interesting day out. Beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor.
Golf is also available nearby.

Great location for walking and Minehead. Quiet and clean, but I was rather annoyed to find on arrival after a fairly gruelling journey that there wasn't a dishcloth, washing up liquid, or scourer. The pyrex dishes were brown with baked on stains. No kitchen paper towel, baking parchment or clingfilm and we had only been left 2 small bath towels. And no spare toilet paper!

I spent a week at Dove Cottage with my two teenage boys and loved every minute.It’s in a lovely area with plenty to see and do, the cottage is very comfortable and furnished to a high standard.Definitely would recommend.
