The Room @Rawsons is a beautifully decorated studio-style holiday property with a luxurious twist positioned on the gable-end of a 17th-century Farmhouse. The Farmhouse is nestled at the foot of Whitbarrow Scar, flanked by natural woodland and part of the Lake District National Park and Whitbarrow National Nature Reserve. A fantastic base to explore the many walking & cycling trails straight from the doorstep. Visit the countless attractions and top-class restaurants in the North & South Lakes.

The Owners have given great thought when creating this fabulously comfortable accommodation to ensure that guests have the opportunity to relax and unwind in natural surroundings. The Owners will provide guests with a welcome hamper with a selection of breakfast items, snacks, fresh bread, fruit, yoghurts and more.
The Room @Rawsons sleeps two, but the farm also has The Hut @Rawsons, a gorgeous glamping lodge that also sleeps two. These can be booked and coordinated.

There are no cooking facilities; however the kitchen is well equipped for cold prep and there is a huge choice of gastropubs, restaurants, lovely hotel restaurants, and cafes nearby – most are open 7 days a week. Please note Rawsons is strictly non-smoking/non-vaping home, this applies to The Room and all its surrounding grounds & woodland (10+ acres).

A beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped place to stay whilst exploring the Lake District. Jan is a superb host and made sure we wanted for nothing whilst we were there. Foodies especailly will love it here, from the welcome hamper provided on arrival, to the local restaurants on offer. We tried a good few of the recommendations during our stay and all were wonderful. We hope to be back!
