In the immediate vicinity of the same, we find several facilities such as shops, grocery shops, cafes, petrol stations and private clinics. A few meters from the flat, on the way to the city centre, you will find the Santa Luzia Garden with a pleasant café, playground and inviting gardens. Northwards you will find a supermarket, some shops and a pizzeria. Close by you will find the "Via Rápida", the main artery to reach all the touristic points along the island such as Ponta de São Lourenço, Santana, Calheta and many more.

When you pass the entrance of the highway, and within a 10 minute drive, you will find the famous Monte area. Here you will find the emblematic Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte, known as the patron saint of Madeira. Nearby are the unique and incomparable "carreiros", also known as "carros de cesto". These trips are recommended to the bravest of people who don't mind the fact that it is a 2 kilometre descent where the brake is on the sole of the driver's feet...and forget the safety seat.

However, before this trip, don't miss the opportunity to visit the beautiful Monte Palace Tropical Garden which is an obligatory stop for all our visitors.

Although it is located in the city centre, this flat has a covered and private car park in case you wish to rent a car to better explore the island.

Inside it was totally renovated thinking on the comfort and rest of those who visit us. The 2 double bedrooms are generously sized which makes this spacious flat the perfect choice for your family or friends.

The kitchen is large and fully equipped so you can enjoy yourself while preparing your meals. The living and dining room was designed in open space, which gives it a modern and cosy feel at the same time. The natural light in this area comes from the windows and the door that gives access to the balcony that overlooks the city and the sea on the horizon.
