A fantastic, historical building in the fishing village of Avoch on the Black Isle.
It enjoys harbour and sea views, and the property serves as a perfect base for a Highland holiday.. 13 steps to entrance. First Floor: Living/dining room: Freeview TV Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher Utility Room: Washing Machine Separate Toilet. The Old Chandlery is situated opposite Avoch Harbour near to the fisher town where the close packed streets are a reminder of the days when the fishing boats were hauled into the street to protect them during bad weather.
Avoch is located on the Black Isle and is approximately 20 minutes North East of Inverness on the Inner Moray Firth.
The property is built into the hillside opposite Avoch Harbour.
At the front of the house, there is a staircase that leads up to the front door.
At the back of the house, there is no staircase to access the back door.

This was our fifth visit to The Chandlery it's a brilliant base for exploring the area.
We hope to book again for next year.
A comment from my husband about the windows and patio they were a bit uncared for. However he did oblige by doing a bit of weeding.

A very well equipped and comfortable apartment. Amazing views across the Moray Firth. Lots of nice walks from the front or within a short drive. Easy access to local shops cafe and takeaway. Have to drive to get to nearest pub/restaurant. Had an excellent week staying here.

A beautiful, clean and well equipped property, situated across from the harbour wit( stunning views from very front-facing window.
Readily available car parking across the road directly opposite the property.
The only negative is the overgrown and cobwebby rear access which mars first impressions as this is the site of the key box.
