The Honey Bee Shepherd's Hut is situated on the grounds of the former Hawkshead Grammar School, adjacent to the owner's bed & breakfast, you are just a few minute's stroll from the centre of Hawkshead Village and the many shops, pubs and eateries, excellent if you don't fancy cooking. The Hut has been fitted with a kitchenette that includes a small breakfast counter with two stools. A raised log-burning stove sits in the corner of the hut, and the stove is an excellent treat on chiller nights. A self-contained shower room with heated towel rail and a walk-in shower, which is mains-plumbed, so there is excellent water pressure. On the enclosed patio area, with an Astroturf surface, houses in the hot tub with a sail over the tub, garden furniture, and an undercover secure area for storing walking gear or bicycles.
The Hut and the hot tub have views over the established gardens of the B&B onto Latterbarrow, a fantastic walk with great views if you fancy venturing out.

The bed was so comfy and we had all we needed in the hut. The log burner made it so cosy.
Unfortunately we didn’t use the hot tub. It was so overlooked by the B&B and the other guests. This was a shame as the hot tub was a big reason I booked this, however, this didn’t spoil our stay.

Beautiful location, nice and quiet. Perfectly presented, clean and cosy. Everything we needed for a cycling holiday. We stored the bikes in a garage. Stone throw from Hawkshead pub and shops. The owner is very friend and extremely helpful. The hot tub is quite a treat in the evening.
