This beautifully designed and decorated house is located in a brand new complex in the heart of Whitby. Located just a few moments' walk from all the town has to offer, you are ideally placed to enjoy the fresh sea air and character of the historic town. Sleeping up to 8 guests across four bedrooms, this is the perfect family retreat by the sea.


The Space
You’ll find stunning interiors and premium furnishings throughout High Tide. Finished to the highest standard, the open plan kitchen, living and dining area is a super stylish space. With ample seating for up to 8 guests, the living area features a large corner sofa and two velvet accent chairs. Turn on the flat screen TV to enjoy Freeview and Sky.

Also sharing this space is the kitchen diner. With everything you could need for preparing meals, the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and all cookware. The statement dining table has four green velvet dining chairs. Please note the dining table extends and additional chairs can be found inside the property.

The house has two bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor. Each floor has a king and double room. There is a neutral colour scheme throughout each room and splashes of colour are added with soft furnishings.

Ultra modern, the family bathroom on the first floor has a bath with overhead shower, WC and basin. Head to the second floor and you’ll find a second bathroom which has a walk in shower, WC and basin. A cloakroom is located on the ground floor.

There is a large patio area to the rear of the property with outdoor furniture for 8 people.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.


Guest Access
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

There will be one allocated parking space at the complex which can be used for the duration of your stay.

Typical of the nature of Whitby, there are a number of steps up to High Tide - 64 to be exact. The property itself is configured across three floors.

The Neighborhood
The centre of Whitby, and Whitby Harbour are just a few short steps away from High Tide, so it’s ideal if you want to experience what life is like living by the sea.

The area is famous for the quality of its fish and chip restaurants, and there are plenty of places where you can sink your teeth into a fresh catch. When you fancy a drink, you’ll find a variety of bars as well as pubs and shops in the local area.

Whitby is also famous for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. You’ll find plenty of sites near the apartment with historic interest relating to the story. The main inspiration can be found at the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. In particular, Dalby Forest and Guisborough Forest, just a short drive away and they both have various beautiful walking and cycling routes to explore.


Getting Around
High Tide is just a short walk to the town centre, Whitby harbour and the bus and train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
