Occupying a peaceful location, Valley Retreat offers a modern, comfortable and well-equipped cottage away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the village whilst still being just a 15-minute woodland walk from Saundersfoot’s award winning beach and picturesque harbour, from where regular fishing and boat trips depart in the summer.
Saundersfoot village boasts many delightful beach front cafes, shops, restaurants and traditional pubs.
The 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes right through Saundersfoot village and, during low tide, much of the coast path can be walked along the beach. The historic seaside town of Tenby is just a short drive away, with its medieval town walls, cobbled streets, and colourful Georgian houses.
The town has a rich history, and its iconic harbour area is especially picturesque, don’t forget the beautiful sandy beaches too. If you enjoy a dip in the sea or just a little sun-bathing, try one of Pembrokeshire's fabulous beaches. There are many activities and attractions nearby including Folly Farm, Heatherton World Of Activities, Manor House Wildlife Park and Dinosaur Park. This renovated cottage is furnished to a high standard, decorated with a coastal theme throughout. Kitchen/Diner: Well-equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster.
A stylish breakfast bar offers seating for 2 people and the spacious dining area comfortably seats up to 6 people.

Double doors lead through to the lounge. Lounge: Seating for up to 6 people, large flat-screen TV and DVD player.
Large bay window looks out the front of the cottage. Master Bedroom: Double bed, door leads to an en-suite bathroom comprising of bath with shower, wash hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2: Double bed and ample storage. Bedroom 3: Twin beds and ample storage. Shower Room: Shower cubicle, toilet and wash hand basin. Outside: Large, decked area off the kitchen/dining area - the perfect space for enjoying your morning coffee! There is a further raised decking area and a lower patio area - both equipped with garden furniture with seating for up to 6 people. Additional Information Please note: That stag and hen parties are strictly not permitted at this property.
Mixed group and same sex group bookings may be considered by prior application only and are subject to owner's approval and checks. Valley Retreat further benefits from WiFi, central heating throughout and off-road parking for up to three cars. Sorry no pets. Check-in time is 3pm on day of arrival. Mid-week and weekend breaks are available outside of peak season and at other times where there is late availability. Please note that a refundable £150 damage and good-housekeeping deposit is required. NB: This property has a smart doorbell which covers the outside entrance and driveway. the property was very clean which was great. The beaches were wonderful and weather was good. Lots more space inside than the pictures suggest which was good
no welcome pack, double bed at the front of the house has a mattress which I think needs replacing, it offers no support for your back and we did not sleep well. Not sure about the house having a ring doorbell and not knowing who was monitoring us. When we booked the ad did not mention this. It has been updated and it now states that the video door bell is on the property.
