Located at Quarry Rigg in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, this second floor apartment offers comfortable self-catering accommodation with lake views and all of the town centre’s amenities quite literally on the doorstep.

Families with children will enjoy a visit to the World of Beatrix Potter, South Lakes Zoo, the Lakeland Aquarium, Motor Museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, where you can take a ride on a steam train.
Grizedale Forest also makes a great day out with plenty of trails, mountain biking, Segways and the Go Ape treetop adventure.
There are plenty of events and festivals held throughout the year, which together with the stunning scenery and great walking opportunities, make this the perfect year round destination.

Good location. Need to state lots of steps to get to the apartment. The location directions are not up to date !! No garage at the bottom of Quarry Brow. The pictures on line do not do the apartment justice. Much better than the pictures show. Comfortable bed.

We stayed here for our golden wedding anniversary. It was the perfect location and spotlessly clean. The one thing that would make a vast improvement would be ceiling fans. It was really warm when we stayed and we left the curtains closed during the day but it was still very warm when we were there. We loved everything else about it. You could not wish for a better view of the lake.
