The bathroom is also downstairs, featuring a shower over the bath. Catbells is located on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, close to the village of Frizington.
Within a mile you have convenience stores, local pubs and shops.
Within 5 miles you have the major town of Whitehaven with major supermarkets, a golf club, public swimming pool, a lovely harbour with a selection of restaurants and bars, and fantastic cliffside walks, perfect for exercising your dogs. A short drive to the Lake District National Park, 4 miles, brings an abundance of walks, cycle routes, wildlife, mountains, and lakes.
Your nearest lake is Ennerdale Water, which is 5 miles away.
Ennerdale is regarded as one of the most unspoilt areas of the Lake District and is full of wildlife including red squirrels, osprey and buzzards.
Loweswater is just 10 miles away which leads to Crummock Water and then Buttermere.
This scenic loop is a beautiful drive with stunning scenery all the way via the Honister Pass to Keswick.

me, my partner and cockapoo willow had an amazing time at catbells. The cottage was very cosy, clean and in a beautiful peaceful location. The garden was fully enclosed which was perfect for Willow.
