Easily reached is Polzeath and Daymer Bay with their beautiful sandy beaches, and further down the coast is Padstow with its shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s fish restaurant.
From here you can walk or cycle the Camel Trail along the estuary to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin, and it is ideally situated to visit the many National Trust attractions that Cornwall has to offer, including The Eden Project, Bodmin Moor with unspoilt moorland at its best, and the many beautiful gardens and National Trust properties.

Had a wonderful weeks break. The cottage is lovely has off street parking which was a big plus as parking is limited to 2 car parks in Port Issac. Bathroom is a little bit on cramped side. Good power in shower. The cottage itself is roomy and bright. Lovely patio garden at the back of the property. Sea views from the Road. Overall well worth the stay.

We had a lovely time, the owner offered for us to come a day early as the cottage was free, which was great as it ended up being one of our better weather days. The cottage is small but perfect for two and our dogs, nice big garden and very close to Port Issac itself. It was cosy and had everything we needed and was good for going out to out villages from there. Would definitely recommend.

This is our 4th visit to Puffins. The cottage is warm and comfortable. It's location is ideal for couples who like to walk, and enjoy the delights of Port Isaac and Port Gaverne...and to shop at the nearby co-op for 'provisions'. The dogs loved the garden, most convenient in the early mornings! As always, we will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to visit again in the future.
