Situated in the quiet fishing village of Craster, with views out to sea, this characterful stone cottage is perfectly placed to allow you to wander around the village and explore the local amenities which include the Robson's Smokery, ever popular for its famous Craster kippers, the restaurant, café, the Jolly Fisherman pub and a quaint art gallery filled with pieces by local artists.
Take a walk around the harbour which is visible from this cottage, wander North and you will find ruins of the once mighty Dunstanburgh Castle. Continue along this rocky part of the coastline and you will reach Embleton with its popular white sand beach, continue on a little further and the route will take you around the headland to Newton, a truly beautiful spot for coastal walking.
Within the 200-year-old cottage, original features have been preserved and are complemented by luxurious 21st century additions. The living room’s centrepiece is a stunning stone inglenook fireplace, complete with wicker log basket and glass-fronted enamel stove, with exposed wooden beams adding to the cottage’s character. The well equipped kitchen has two ovens to make cooking for a large family more convenient and upstairs there are two master bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms. Solar panels have also been installed to allow the use of renewable energy
