A traditional Fisherman's Cottage with a real wood burning stove to keep you cosy. On those warmer days, head outside to the terrace, cook up something special on the barbeque as you take in the spectacular sea views. This property is ideally located with the beach, pub, and shops all within a few minutes walking distance. At the end of a long day exploring Brixham, take a long bubbly soay in the deep roll-top bath. Upstairs on the first floor is the kitchen/diner which opens onto the lounge. This welcoming and relaxing space has exposed stone walls and fantastic views. On the top floor you will find the master bedroom. This charming room has lovely wooden floors, exposed stone walls, wonderful harbour views and an en-suite.
Outside the cottage, there is an enclosed seating area with outdoor sofas to the front of the property, a great place to relax with drinks and watch the activity on the harbour. To the rear of the property, there are steep steps leading to terraced seating areas, where you will find a spot to enjoy the sunshine, whatever the time of day.
Located above the town of Brixham, with access via steps, just a few minutes walk away from the local shops, cafes, and restaurants and the dedicated parking space on the harbour side.
Brixham is England's busiest fishing harbour, with a proud maritime history and makes a fantastic place for a holiday in South Devon. A popular destination with walkers, daytrippers, fishermen, rock climbers, naturalists and historians, making it one of Torbay’s top ten most visited attractions. The harbour is the main focal point of the town, but in recent years it has also become known for its arts scene and there are several galleries and workshops which are lovely to spend an afternoon browsing. The restaurants, as visitors might expect, mostly specialise in the local seafood brought home by the fishermen, and there are plenty that are well-regarded, some offering stunning sea views. Beach-lovers will not be disappointed, as the town boasts several beaches, from the main Breakwater Beach to the quiet and secluded St Mary’s Bay.
Local attractions nearby include:
Berry Head Nature Reserve
Churston Cove
Bigbury and Burgh Island
Dartmouth Ferry and Steam Train
Ferry from Brixham to Torquay

Visit Agatha Christie’s Greenway House and Dartmoor with its tours and quaint villages. Fine golf courses are also just a short drive away. Dartmouth and Salcombe are roughly 40 minutes and an hour away by car, both of which have charm and special attractions to offer. Make the most out of the local area by starting your adventure in Paignton, then visiting Dartmouth and Totnes via steam train, riverboat and bus.
