Situated just forty feet from the Old Higher Lighthouse, this upside down detached Grade II listed cottage makes the most of the fantastic sea and coastal views, as the whole of the first floor is given over to a light and airy sitting and dining room with windows on all four sides.
Take advantage of shared access to the lighthouse tower and observatory from where there are breathtaking views of Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Alternatively, take a dip in the shared heated pool and Jacuzzi, or take a stroll along the rugged coast.

Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 5 mins walk. Note property decorated for Christmas from 1st December. Fantastic views and so peaceful. Lobster Pot is just a walk down hill, depending on your health, how easy you find going uphill afterwards. There is 360° view from the lighthouse next door. The cottage is comfortable and the owner is friendly.

The accommodation was very comfortable with a wonderful position on the headland at Portland Bill. There were amazing views from the 1st floor living room and access to the refurbished lighthouse next door made it a truly, unique location.

Really great querky accommodation is marvellous location. Fabulous views and sunsets. But the nearby overpriced cafe and carparks can dampen the euphoria.
