A superb, semi-detached, Grade II listed stone cottage in the centre of the pretty village of Alton, just 1.2 miles from the popular Alton Towers Theme Park.
Tastefully furnished to a contemporary theme, the cottage has two king-size bedrooms.
The first bedroom is spacious and includes a king-size double bed with beautiful oak furniture and soft furnishings and a woodburner.
The second bedroom is equally finished but also includes a permanent staircase which leads up to the second floor loft conversion with a single bed and a cabin-style bed, meaning it also has the flexibility to act as a family bedroom.
The cottage would therefore equally lend itself to two couples wanting to enjoy the pubs and restaurants of Alton or a family of six wanting a base very close to Alton Towers.
Set over three floors, guests enter the cottage to the open plan and superbly-equipped kitchen/diner which boasts an oak dining table, seating six, and a kitchen with a Belfast sink and a range-style cooker.
The living room is beautifully finished with contemporary soft furnishings and high quality furniture.
A stone fireplace features a woodburner which is perfect for snuggling up in front of at the end of the day after you have exhausted yourself with the many activities available on your doorstep.

Outside, there is a private, enclosed patio with furniture and a door leading into the garage where you are free to securely store bikes.

Set over three floors, there is a king-size double bedroom with a woodburner, a king-size double bedroom with stairs leading to a second floor attic twin bedroom with a single bed and a cabin-style bed. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside there is roadside parking opposite the property, secure bike storage and a front, enclosed patio with furniture. Ash House is a wonderful base for your holiday.
