A superb, detached stone-built cottage situated in a truly idyllic woodland position on the edge of the Gwydir Forest and only 300 yards from Gwydir Castle, within the Snowdonia National Park.
The property enjoys over three hundred years of history and retains many original features including two foot thick stone walls, inglenook fireplaces and beamed ceilings.
More recently it has been sympathetically modernised to an exceptionally high standard and offers every modern comfort.
Visitors will also enjoy the sunny garden and the sound of nearby waterfalls.
Betws-y-Coed, with its many amenities, is three miles away.

Nant Cottage is a detached stone built cottage, situated on the edge of the Gwydir Forest in the Snowdonia National Park. Boasting three bedrooms consisting of two doubles, one of which has an en-suite washbasin and WC and one twin, as well as a ground floor family shower room, this cottage can sleep six people. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen, a sitting/dining room with log burning stove and an additional sitting room with a recessed
fireplace. Outside, there is ample off road parking and a garden with furniture. Nant Cottage is a wonderful cottage and perfect for exploring the area.

Another magical few days at Nant cottage. The first time we’ve taken our baby and the hosts were so accommodating and provided us with a cot and anything else we needed. We took a family photo in front of the cottage and can’t wait to make it an annual tradition. Thank you so much it’s truly a privilege to stay there.

A lovely cottage, historical and beautiful and very much as listed.
Next to the road but private and can mostly only hear the river and see the trees.
Generous wood supplied and homemade scones which were great.
Worth chatting with Adrian about the history of the cottage and local area.

Beautiful, well equipped, cottage with a pretty, and extensive, garden. The cottage is spacious, but still cosy, with lots of interesting features. It is a 15 minute walk into Llanwrst, through the woods (past the waterfalls), or along the small road. Both routes are fairly steep. There is lots to see and do in the area. Highly recommended !
