A lovingly renovated semi-detached character cottage, in the small hamlet of Durran, just 5 minutes' walk from the shores of Loch Awe. This charming single-storey cottage offers a warm and welcoming holiday home for all the family.
The property has been tastefully furnished throughout including a woodburning stove in the sitting room and patio doors out onto decking with wonderful views out towards the loch.
The property also boasts a large sunny garden to the front and rear, perfect for alfresco dining! This is a superb holiday area, with boating and fishing (permit required) on the loch, and fantastic walks and cycle ways right on the doorstep.
The village of Kilmartin, known for its history and archaeology, offers a pub, hotel and museum, as well as a fascinating churchyard and two castles.
The towns of Lochgilphead and Oban are also within easy reach.

Fantastic house, which has everything you need: super clean, spacious, comfortable, good sofa and beds, good bathroom, excellent kitchen, quiet location. The owner lives next door, but you have complete privacy. Nice view and a beautiful location. Very friendly welcome, the hostess responds very quickly to questions. What more could you want?

Had a fantastic stay at Drovers Way, beautiful and peaceful, if you want to "switch off"and chill then this is the place .Amazing views of Loch Awe , wonderful wildlife all around ,amazing amount of birds visiting feeders in garden . Cottage very clean and has everything you need .Will definitely return .

Elsbeth and Ian are a lovely couple and their cottage is in a beautiful situation. Clean and well presented with views that will stay in the mind for a long time.
We had a great week mainly just chilling out and watching the birds with occasional trips out.
Definitely recommended, don’t miss it. Thanks again to Elsbeth and Ian for the chance to stay at their superb cottage.
