Alveton is a large, semi detached stone property conveniently located just a five minute walk from Alton Towers in the Staffordshire village of Farley. With two twin bedrooms and two doubles, one of which has a double sofa bed and ensuite, along with a separate family bathroom, this cottage can sleep ten people in luxury. The rest of the accommodation is made up of an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner and patio doors to the garden. The garden contains a patio with outdoor furniture as well as there being plenty of off road parking. Alveton is an ideal cottage for everyone, whether you spend your time on the rides at Alton Park or discovering the nearby Peak District National Park.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was in an ideal location for our visit to Alton towers, literally at the entrance!
Great facilities in the cottage.
The only small thing I would say is that the downstairs bed and one of the doubles beds upstairs weren’t very comfy, the mattresses were quite thin.
But this didn’t spoil our stay and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Could do with a little TLC and some more basic bits like pizza trays

A super property, with everything we all needed x Space for 7 of us and never felylt on top of each other and that included 3 teenagers. Would definitely come again and a 4 to 5 min walk to Alton Towers gates x Great host x
