This Beddgelert cottage is affectionately known as Rupert Bear's Cottage in memory of the author and illustrator of the Rupert Bear stories, who lived there from 1956 to 1986. He gained his inspiration from the local countryside and wrote the Rupert Bear stories from here for many years. This secluded Beddgelert cottage has two bedrooms, a sitting/dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen area, both with exposed wooden beams. The gardens and woodland surrounding this Beddgelert holiday home provide peace and tranquillity, yet the cottage is only a 5-minute stroll into the centre of Beddgelert. There are miles of walking tracks around, some starting from outside the door of this Beddgelert cottage.
