Lakeview Yurt is a bright 20-foot yurt on the outskirts of the pretty village of Beckford, on the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border, in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Ideally situated on the edge of a fishing lake, boasting underfloor heating, a roll top bath, a veranda, a hot tub and a sauna, making it the perfect choice for a rural romantic getaway.
Pull up and park, then linger for a moment as the stillness of the setting gently sets the tone.
This single‑storey retreat sits beside the wildlife lake, offering an easy sense of seclusion without feeling isolated.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a well‑balanced studio‑style space where each element has been thoughtfully placed to encourage switching off and settling in. Start your stay by setting bags aside and easing into the flow of the space.
The kitchen area suits relaxed, everyday cooking, whether you’re warming a simple supper or preparing something unhurried, before pulling up a seat at the breakfast bar to linger over food and conversation.
As the day softens, drift into the sitting area and enjoy the gentle warmth underfoot while the atmosphere remains calm and uncluttered.
When evening calls for slowing down further, pull down the projector screen, load up your favourite DVD, and sink into a laid‑back cinema‑style night.
Later, move across to the king-size bed and wind down at your own pace as the evening draws to a close.
For deeper relaxation, the roll‑top bath provides an indulgent escape, inviting long soaks with the door closed and the outside world left firmly behind.
A separate basin and WC, accessed via the yurt, keeps the main living area feeling open and uninterrupted.
Outdoors, the experience continues at a slower tempo.
Step onto the wooden veranda and move easily between heat and fresh air, soaking in the private hot tub, slipping into the two‑person sauna, or settling beside the chiminea with a drink as daylight fades.

Lakeview Yurt is a very special holiday home, set in a peaceful location by the owner's fishing lake near the village of Beckford, in the Gloucestershire countryside. This unique property is all open plan, with a king-size double bed with lake views, roll-top bath with shower attachment, kitchen area with combination microwave/grill, 2-ring induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, dining area and a sitting area with gas fire. The WC is in a separate structure just outside the yurt. There is a veranda, ideal for relaxing, and guests also have use of a private hot tub, two person sauna, furniture and chinimnea with all fuel included. There is a Projector with DVD player and roll-down screen. There is off-road parking for one car, though please note in bad weather, driving along the track across the field to The Lakeview Yurt may not be possible. Ideal for recharging the batteries in a unique and characterful setting, The Lakeview Yurt is perfectly placed for enjoying Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, including Cheltenham, Broadway and Evesham. Note: No TV. Note: Check-in 4pm, check-out 10am. Note: On-site fishing available such as large Carp, Roach, Rudd and Perch. Note: There is a ramp for wheelchair access. Note: This property has a Monday and Friday arrival date only. Note: If you are a returning Customer, please call our call centre to make your booking. We have been hoping to the yurt every year for 11 years now and each time it's as good as the last. My only concern this time is the weeds at the back of the yurt need keeping down , I photograph the wildlife and its makes it difficult to capture a decent picture. Apart from that perfect relaxing holiday. Sarah as helpful as always .

A stunning location and amazing place to stay. The escapism with wildlife surroundings all amenities catered for. Underfloor heating was great when the temperature started to drop. A perfect place to escape unwind if needed. Very local to all lovely villages in Cotswolds for a drive out. The Star pub in Ashton under hill served lovely food - the Sunday dinner was amazing

Your a step away from busy life with plenty of places to go and see or the pub, country walks on the door step or just enjoy the wildlife around you and theres plenty. the yurt is great everything u need and to end your evenings with hot tub or sauna its a must!!
