A delightful, double-fronted, end-terrace cottage, set in an elevated position close to the centre of Porthmadog, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the marina and shops of this North Wales seaside resort.
Comfortable and welcoming, this former sea captain's home dates back to the 1850s and offers charm and character with a superb sea, harbour and estuary panorama and delightful views of both the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway in the distance, and the beach at Borth-y-Gest just a 15 minute walk away.
Decorated and furnished in a homely style, this Porthmadog cottage has a large and airy kitchen and dining area and two sitting rooms that have been refurbished for 2019 on the ground floor.
On the first floor are four bedrooms with a second floor twin bedroom with en-suite basin and WC, accessed up a quaint winding staircase, making this Porthmadog cottage a fantastic family holiday home.

Garth Craig is a terraced cottage in the heart of the popular North Wales harbour town of Porthmadog. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 6, and has one double bedroom, two twins, one with bunks and one single bedroom as well as two family bathrooms. Also in the cottage is a fitted kitchen and two sitting rooms. Outside is off road parking and sloping gardens with outdoor furniture. With magnificent sea views and beaches nearby, Garth Craig is a superb family holiday home in North Wales. Note: 2nd floor bedroom is accessed by steep winding staircase and has sloping ceiling with reduced head height

Perfect stay to visit this part of wales. Great view from the house over the town, Harbour and estuary. Only 10 minutes walk to the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railway. Also just 45 minutes drive to mount Snowdon. Huge house and enough space for a whole family.

Lovely house with fabulous views from it's elevated position over the harbour, rare to find such a welcoming property so close to the town centre, with the bonus of private parking. Enjoyed a drink in the sun watching the steam-trains at the picturesque station nearby, it's a real gem.

Amazing accommodation, beautifully clean and decorated with very comfortable beds! The kitchen has everything you might need for evenings in and there’s also lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The railway is a must and a great day out for everyone. In all an amazing weekend away!!!
